Meerlust is one of South Africa's oldest wine estates, farmed by the Myburgh family since 1756 on land bordering the Eerste River near Baden Powell Drive. It is best known for Rubicon, one of the country's original Bordeaux-style blends, alongside Chardonnay, Merlot and Pinot Noir. Tastings take place in the estate's historic cellar and are recommended to be booked ahead.
