Kanonkop is one of South Africa's most decorated red wine producers, farming on the slopes of the Simonsberg outside Stellenbosch since the 1970s. The estate is particularly celebrated for its old-vine Pinotage and its Cabernet Sauvignon-based Paul Sauer blend, and its tasting room offers seated tastings by the fireplace or on the veranda. The property is wheelchair-accessible and welcomes groups by prior arrangement.
