A small hobby apiary at the foot of the Zugspitze, run by beekeeper Michael Schmidt in the Eibsee district of Grainau. The bees forage across the alpine meadows and forests around Grainau and Eibsee, producing a natural, unfiltered honey sold in small batches, with the beekeepers deliberately leaving part of each hive's honey for the colonies rather than maximising yield.
