One of South Africa's oldest wine estates, founded in 1685 and set between the Simonsberg and Drakenstein mountains near the Stellenbosch/Franschhoek boundary. The estate offers a cellar-door tasting under an old oak tree, farm-to-table picnics and restaurants, a farm shop, and walking trails through its vineyards and orchards. It is widely known for its historic Cape Dutch manor house and its farm-to-table food ethos.
